Providing barrier-free food to the Parkdale community with choice, dignity and respect for all.

Our mission is to ensure access to barrier free food, with choice, dignity and respect for all. No questions asked, we provide food to anyone who seeks assistance from our program. We believe that access to high quality, healthy food is a human right.

Beyond the provision of food, the Parkdale Community Food Bank strives to be a place of dignity, safety, and respect for all. The PCFB is a community driven by mutual support, where members can share their gifts, and the resources available to them, based on their need, and according to their abilities. We accept all of our community members in a non-judgemental manner.

Finally, the Parkdale Community Food Bank advocates for the elimination of poverty & food insecurity in a non partisan and constructive fashion.

Embracing the belief that joy is fundamental to nourishment, our mission is to create a hunger-free community. Through barrier-free access to diverse food options, every person who walks through our doors has a place at our table.

Spring run off

The Spring Run Off, hosted by Canada Running Series, celebrates the return of spring in Toronto’s beautiful High Park, welcoming runners of all ages to participate and thaw out after a long Canadian winter.

With a focus on family-friendly fitness, you can choose from 8 km, 5 km, and Kids Race distances, for both virtual and in-person options.

100% of the funds raised through the Spring Run Off will go towards supporting our programming at the Parkdale Community Food Bank.

It won’t be a walk in the park, but we’re excited to help you say goodbye to winter and hello to spring this year with the Spring Run-Off.
