Thank you for your interest in participating in our
Back to School Food Drive Contest!
Why is it important to be able to provide food to children in our community?
Children in Ontario make up a significant portion of food bank users. Research has linked childhood hunger to negative academic and health outcomes, such as impaired learning, decreased productivity, and a higher risk of mental health challenges and chronic conditions like asthma. The effects of childhood hunger can be far-reaching, making it more challenging for individuals who grow up in poverty to break free from its grasp as adults. For many children in Ontario, school-provided lunches may be their sole source of sustenance in a day.
You can compete as an individual, or in a team (max. 10 people per team).
Teams will collect as many donations as possible during any time period up until contest closure on September 20th.
All donations must be dropped off at 263 Dunn Avenue on or before September 20th to be considered eligible to receive prizes.
Team must give a name and email address when dropping off donations to be considered eligible to receive contest prizes.
Each member of the team that collects the most donations will receive a PCFB prize pack including a zine, tote bag & t-shirt (design of your choosing).
