We are currently accepting submissions for the second edition of our Community Cookbook!
Selected recipes will be included in our bi-annual recipe zine, created by our community member, for our community members!

Guidelines
We're making this recipe competition accessible and affordable to everyone by putting some guidelines in place. But don't worry, they're designed to make the contest more exciting as well!

All recipes must be vegetarian or vegan

Recipes should not involve special equipment (stick to stovetop, oven, and microwave)

Recipes can not contain more than 8 essential ingredients and up to 5 optional ingredients

There are 5 categories that community members can choose to submit recipes to, with one winner being selected from each category (see next section for details for each category)

Contestants may submit one recipe for each category

Challenge Categories​

Microwave Meals: All entries for this category must not use a stove or oven. They must be prepared using a microwave only.

Leafy Greens: All entries for this category most feature a leafy green as one of the main ingredients.

Cold Dishes: All entries in this category must be for a dish that is served cold or at room temperature.

Three Ingredients or Less: All entries in this category must not contain more than 3 mandatory ingredients.

Dessert Category: All entries in this category must be for a dessert recipe.

Prizes
5 recipes will be selected.
Individuals whose recipes are selected will receive a gift valued at $50 generously donated by one of the following businesses:

All entries will be judged based on originality, accessibility, affordability, and adherence to challenge guidelines.

All entries must be submitted by May 10th to be eligible to win a prize and be featured in the recipe zine.
