Drop-In Grocery Program
Our in-person grocery program offers a simple way to access free, healthy groceries right here in the Parkdale community. We do not require any proof of ID or financial status from our service users. We provide groceries (not pre-made meals). You can visit the food bank once a week. Please bring your own grocery bags to take your items!

Community members can browse our food bank and choose from a wide variety of products, including fresh produce, bread, grains, pasta, sauces, soups, beans, canned meat and fish, fresh meat, vegetarian alternatives, beverages, pet food, personal care products, and more.

Important Information For Your First Visit
To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend arriving a few hours after we open, as wait times can be long at opening. Fifteen minutes before opening, we distribute randomized numbers to those waiting in line. These numbers determine the order of entry. We begin serving on a first come first serve basis once the lottery numbers are complete. We strongly suggest that you do not arrive before opening to secure an early spot in line. To reduce wait times, please attend the food bank at least 2 hours after opening.

The entrance to our food bank is fitted with a StopGap ramp and all aisles within the food bank are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, and other accessibility devices.
Our volunteers and staff speak a wide variety of languages and are always happy to support with questions, concerns, and inquiries. However, we do not have professional translation services or ASL interpreters on-site at the food bank.
Please note that we do not have public washroom facilities available on-site.

We do not have parking available at the food bank, however, there is plenty of free street parking on the surrounding streets.

If you are unable to access our in-person drop-in food programming due to illness, injury, or mobility issues we encourage you to register for our delivery program.
