Our in person grocery pick up program is an easy way to access free, healthy groceries within the Parkdale/High Park community. If you are in need of groceries, please come by anytime during our operating hours to come into the food bank and select your groceries. Community members can come directly into the food bank to select from a wide range of items, including produce, bread, grain products, pasta, sauce/condiments, soup, beans, canned meat/fish, fresh meat, vegetarian meat replacements, juice/beverages, treats and more.

We are open to the public for food service during the following hours:

Wednesday 10:00AM to 4:30PM (Senior & Disabled Only)

Thursday 10:00AM to 4:30PM (Services Open to All)

Friday 4PM to 8PM (Services Open to All)

Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Services Open to All)

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all community members, we recommend arriving a few hours after we open. Wait times can be very long at opening. Fifteen minutes prior to opening, we distribute randomized numbers to anyone waiting in line prior to opening. These numbers determine the order in which community members will enter the food bank. If you receive a higher numbered card, you have the option to wait at the library where a volunteer is stationed to notify you when it's your turn to shop. Anyone who arrives after numbers have been distributed will be served on a first-come first-serve basis.

Our grocery delivery program delivers grocery boxes to community members who are unable to leave their homes for a variety of reasons. If you are unable to attend our in person programming, please email or call 289-206-1377 to be added to our delivery waitlist. In your email please include your reason for delivery, a valid phone number, your address (and unit number, if applicable), the number of people in your household, and any dietary restrictions that you follow. Availability is limited based on eligibility and resources.
