COVID-19 PROGRAMMING

CLIENT DELIVERY PROGRAM

We are aware that many of our clients are immunocompromised, elderly or otherwise self-isolating due to COVID-19. In response to this, we have instated a grocery box delivery program. If you are unable to attend our programming for any of the above mentioned reasons, please email deliveries@pcfb.ca or call 416-532-2375 to be added to our delivery list. In your email please include your reason for delivery, a valid phone number, your address (and unit number, if applicable), the number of people in your household, and any dietary restrictions that you follow. Availability is limited based on eligibility and resources.

CLIENT CHOICE RESPONSE

We believe that client choice is one of the most significant cornerstones of our organization. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have been forced to suspend our shopping model, which has resulted in an unfortunate barrier to choice for many of our clients.

If you have special requests or specific dietary needs, please call at 416-532-2375 to book a time to pick up a grocery box catered to your needs.  Please note that our resources are limited by the donations we have access to. We may not have access to all items clients are in need of, but we will do our best to accommodate.

DROP IN GROCERY PROGRAM

Our grocery box pick up program is an easy way to access free, healthy groceries within the Parkdale/High Park community. If you are in need of groceries, please come by anytime during our operating hours to pick up a grocery box. Drop in boxes contain a wide range of items, including produce bags, bread, grain products, pasta, sauce/condiments, soup, beans, canned meat/fish, fresh meat, vegetarian meat replacements, juice/beverages, treats and more.
