Providing barrier-free food to the Parkdale community with choice, dignity and respect for all.

We have partnered with the Canada Running Series for their annual Spring Run-Off. The run is scheduled for April 1st in High Park. Register today to participate, or check out our page (linked below) to support a runner. We are looking to raise $20,000 to support the ongoing operations of our programs and services. In 2022, the need for our services increased by over 150% and this run will be integral in ensuring we meet the needs of our community. There are amazing prizes for the top fundraisers including a $200 gift card to The Runner's Shop and a dinner for the top team at Bellwood's Brewery!

The need is greater than ever

Our mission is to ensure access to barrier free food, with choice, dignity and respect for all. No questions asked, we provide food to anyone who seeks assistance from our program. We believe that access to high quality, healthy food is a human right.

Beyond the provision of food, the Parkdale Community Food Bank must be a place of dignity, safety, respite and repose, where participants are made to feel that they are respected members of a community of mutual support. They share their gifts, and the resources available to them, based on their need, and according to their abilities. We accept all of our community members in a non-judgemental manner. By the contribution of each member to the other, we seek to lift each other up.

Finally, the Parkdale Community Food Bank advocates for the elimination of poverty & food insecurity in a non partisan and constructive fashion.
